She's Come Undone....

Well today we unveiled her as the weather is supposed to hold for the next several days.
Here's a picture from the living room looking toward the front door (see all those lovely windows?)
And this, well, this is my marvelous living room! It looks absolutely amazing with the windows installed! (we are storing our insulation in the living room for the time being)
Here she is! Basking in the sun for the first time in a long while :o)

Keep in mind that we're going to be adding a storage shed to the tongue, so we just did opening windows at the top with plans for the storage shed later on.
And this, my dear friends.......is the most beautiful tiny house on the block :o)

  1. Looking good. What are you using as insulation?

  2. Hi Anna,
We're using a wool batt insulation from the UK. We can't find anything manufactured in the US that is actually non-toxic. There are "green" options, but they still have elements that are toxic to humans (mainly they are just recycled materials). My house smells a bit like a barn with all of the sheeps wool in there right now, but I'd rather we smell like a farm than something else :o)
The smell will dissapate once we get them out of their bags.

  3. I love your tiny house, I have been following you guys for a while now, looks like your starting to get really close to being able to live in it! I was curious, what is the overall height of the home from the ground to the peak of the house?

  4. I love your house, especially the stairs! What is the rise/run of your staircase?
    Thanks, Stacey

  5. Thanks! The height is 13'5" (once inch shorter than is allowed per law).
We're itching to get finished up and moved in!
